Iran Showcases Technological Capabilities at Dedicated Session in Venezuela

The event, organized under the strategic framework of "technology diplomacy," brought together key representatives from eight leading Iranian ICT firms specializing in cloud services, social networks, video platforms, digital advertising, and communication infrastructure. These representatives participated online, reflecting the collaborative efforts aimed at strengthening ties between the two countries' tech industries.

A central objective of the meeting was to deepen technological linkages between Iran and Venezuela by exploring mutually beneficial cooperation opportunities. Discussions focused on ways Iranian companies could work alongside Venezuelan operators to facilitate a substantive presence for Iranian digital services within Latin America’s evolving markets.

This initiative aligns closely with the overarching strategic plans of Iran’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology to diversify and expand the export destinations for its digital and communication services. The ministry’s commitment to this market development is underscored by the remarks of Seyed Sattar Hashemi, Iran’s Minister of Communications and Information Technology, who emphasized the government’s dual focus during the current administration.
