In a letter to Ehsan Kiankhah, the head of the Parliament's digital economy committee, the new secretary of the Information Technology Executive Council asked him to follow the path of the former secretary. He has also raised requests such as planning to achieve the goals of e-government in the next 5 years and completing the government database.

In this year's budget law, the 13th government had set three specific tasks for executive bodies in order to develop electronic government. According to the budget law, the institutions have until the end of December to finalize these tasks, which were extended in different periods due to the inability of the institutions to complete them.

Devices that provide basic e-Government services will be required to provide a Service Level Assurance (SLA). In the first stage, these services include four authentication services of natural persons of civil registry, postal code, masterpiece inquiry and authentication of legal persons of the Real Estate Registry Organization.

Reza Bagheri Asal, the secretary of the e-Government Interactivity Working Group, believes that some devices declare that the data is confidential in order to hide their weaknesses, if this is not true.

The Minister of Communications and Information Technology, referring to Iran's position in the indicators related to electronic government, evaluated the country's situation in this field as unfavorable. He announced the holding of more than 300 briefing sessions with different devices to launch their service window.

The e-government in the 13th government is tied to the national window of smart government e-services. On the other hand, the national window is the last plan for the implementation of electronic government in Iran.

The 7th development plan has been presented to the parliament while it lacks a comprehensive and long-term plan for the coming years and only examines the issues that are currently on the government's table. If the purpose of the development plan is to determine the country's growth and development path in the next five years, the plan that is currently on the agenda of the parliament does not specify this path. In this program, there is a lack of long-term vision on the part of the programmers of the program. In the seventh development plan, it is mentioned that the share of the digital economy will reach 10%, for which no path has been determined, and this rate of growth is now included in the work plan of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology for the next two years. If the 7th plan is supposed to clarify the development of the budget law in the coming years, this program has taken more than the example of the budget law in the current situation.

Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, Speaker of the Islamic Council, said at the Information Technology Day event: Information technology activists and engineers in this field have the ability to solve problems in every body and organization, now the most important tool of power is technology, and technology is no longer a choice but a necessity. It is inevitable. Smart governance is more important than e-government.

The Executive Council of Information Technology designated 20 projects as government smartness driving projects, and these projects have replaced 23 priority projects of the 12th government.

The strategic commission of the Information Technology Executive Council was held at the Secretariat of the Council in order to prepare for the 27th meeting of the Information Technology Executive Council and to review the status of the executive bodies in making services smarter.
